Fremont Semiconductor Project
Fremont, CA
The project involves the construction of a two-story Central Utility Building (CUB) and significant infrastructure upgrades. A key component of this development is the construction of a utility bridge that will connect to the RGL, alongside the installation of gas distribution systems for Phase 2A rows T&U, all within an operational cleanroom environment.
To enhance electrical capacity, the project includes the addition of a substation, switchgears, and distribution systems. Furthermore, the integration of process chilled water capacity will be achieved through the installation of two chillers, cooling towers, and a water treatment skid, ensuring optimal cooling efficiency.
The project includes the installation of scrubber exhaust systems and an increase in hot water capacity with the addition of three boilers to manage emissions. The enhancements are designed to improve operational efficiency and contribute to the facility’s long term sustainability objectives.
