20-40 Pacifica Office Buildings
Irvine, CA
McCarthy completed the high-rise to the Irvine Spectrum development consisting of two 15-story, Class-A speculative office buildings totaling 663,090 square feet, as well as a surface parking lot with 372 parking stalls. The towers, clad in rich Italian travertine, are prominently located adjacent to the I-405 freeway, with convenient pedestrian access to the 1.1 million square feet of retail and restaurant amenities from the neighboring Irvine Spectrum Center.
Floor-to-ceiling, high performance glazing maximizes natural daylighting and expansive views while environmentally efficient water, lighting and energy systems work together to create sustainable workplaces.
Numerous achievements made this project extraordinary, including McCarthy's ability, during the phasing of construction, to expedite the volume of material deliveries of the stone, allowing the team to re-sequence subcontractor activities resulting in project completion two months ahead of schedule.
