Northside Hospital

McCarthy completed the build out of six operating rooms and support areas on the third floor of Northside Forsyth’s main hospital surgical tower. All work was completed while the facility remained operational.

McCarthy coordinated work with all stakeholders to implement a phasing plan, which allowed work to continue without impeding the hospital’s important day-to-day activities and met the client’s crucial schedule goals. Diligent management over multiple contractors, as well as developing unique schedules around ongoing work in an operational facility, made it possible for McCarthy to address complex controls required for areas like the pharmacy and tie-in plumbing lines without interrupting the patient experience.
