Delivered in an outpatient setting, this innovative method of administering radiation therapy is more precise and effective than conventional treatment modalities. As a result, patients tend to experience fewer side effects and can return to their normal activities more quickly than with traditional treatment.
While these specialized clinics are often housed in modestly scaled standalone building or additions to existing cancer treatment facilities, they are far more complex to construct than a typical outpatient clinic.
