Michelle Schwartz is an experienced leader with demonstrated success in both the architecture and construction industries. This unique background forms the foundation for her role as Business Development Director with McCarthy’s Renewable Energy business, where she works with national clients in bringing forward solar and energy storage projects through an EPC model. A strategic thinker who cares deeply about building relationships, she excels at gathering information to help continue the improvement of our communities with a passion for sustainability and the energy transition.
With a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University, Michelle is also a graduate of Tempe Leadership and serves her community through a current appointment to the city of Tempe Development Review Commission. A certified Economic Development Professional (AZED Pro), her involvement with the Arizona Association for Economic Development includes serving in varying leadership roles from events chair to advisory board. Michelle is a member of Urban Land Institute and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) and has been recognized by Connect CRE as a 2020 Woman of Influence, Top Young Pro in the Southwest from Engineering News Record, and one of the Most Influential Women in Commercial Real Estate by AZRE Magazine.
