Matthew Schrodel is Vice President and Dallas Business Unit Leader at McCarthy. In his role, Matt is responsible for the long-term strategy and near-term opportunities for McCarthy in the North Texas area as well as integrating McCarthy’s various departments into a project as they become necessary. One of Matt’s strongest skills has been his ability to build genuine relationships with trade partners, owners, designers, and colleagues, implementing a culture of connection and community within the industry and workforce.
Matt joined McCarthy in 2009 as an intern while studying Construction Management at the University of Oklahoma. Since starting with McCarthy, Matt has worked on projects across a variety of market sectors including healthcare, education, entertainment, and aviation. Under his leadership, McCarthy built the Beaumont Cancer Center, a state-of-the-art cancer treatment center in East Texas, and the Collin College Technical Center, a workforce education center in Allen, TX.
Matt holds a bachelor's degree in construction management from the University of Oklahoma.
