Josh Martinez, PE, DBIA, has more than 15 years of experience in designing large-scale new construction and repair retrofit projects. He is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with partners doing business in the Marine and Ports market sectors. Before joining McCarthy, he worked on a wide range of marine structural projects including container crane terminals, LNG offloading terminals, DOT ferry landings, storm surge walls, and above and underwater structural condition assessments. Josh is a certified Design Build Professional and has led numerous design-build marine construction projects. He is also a certified NHI team lead bridge inspector, SPRAT rope access technician, and ADCI commercial diver. In addition to his design experience, Josh is currently a Major in the Air Force Reserves, where he serves as a Civil Engineering officer for the Air Force Civil Engineer Center at Tyndall AFB. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the US Air Force Academy and a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering from North Carolina State University.
