Jeff Wood leads McCarthy’s Austin business unit and is focused on strengthening relationships and executing work across the Central Texas region.
Jeff, a native Texan, joined McCarthy in 2012 as a Project Director in Las Vegas. He was quickly promoted to Vice President, Operations and later assumed the role of Business Unit Leader for Las Vegas in 2015. His tenure in Las Vegas was marked by unparalleled growth and success, spearheading iconic projects such as Allegiant Stadium, the Palms Casino, TopGolf, Circa, Hakkasan, and various renewable energy projects. Additionally, Jeff spearheaded the start-up and strategic growth of the Denver office.
Jeff transitioned to McCarthy’s Newport Beach office in 2021, focusing on the startup of McCarthy self-perform drywall and growing the life science market. Additionally, Jeff oversaw all operations, shared service groups and was a member of both the national water and renewable energy executive leadership teams.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management and Industrial Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. Jeff has also completed the Advanced Management Program at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
