Barbours Cut Terminal Container Yards 4 and 5

The Barbours Cut Terminal Container Yards 4 and 5 project consisted of the replacement of approximately 18 acres of existing container yard pavement with new pavement markings and signage. McCarthy's scope included construction of a storm water collection system, water lines (potable and fire suppression), and sanitary sewer lines to replace all portions within the new pavement area. Additional scopes included the construction of new electrical infrastructure, including lighting and outlet plugs for refrigerated containers. This project required very detailed logistic planning as it took place in the middle of an active container terminal.
