Jonathan Schmaltz

Jonathan brings over 15 years of Heavy Civil and Marine construction experience to his role in McCarthy’s Southern Region. He is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with partners doing business in the Heavy Civil, Marine and Ports market sectors. Before joining McCarthy, he worked on a wide range of projects along the Southern Atlantic and Gulf Coasts as a project engineer, project manager, estimator and in business development. Jonathan holds OSHA 30-Hour Hazard Recognition and PADI Rescue Diver certifications, and is an active member of the WEDA Gulf Coast Chapter, Economic Alliance of the Houston Port Region, Lonestar Harbor Safety Committee and the Maritime & Logistics Youth Expo. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
