Celebrating Women in Construction Week

Each of these women were chosen to be spotlighted by one of their peers, who are quoted below explaining how they exemplify this year’s theme and McCarthy’s values.  

PAM GONZALES

“Erika Gibbs has grown from being an administrator on small projects, to leading admin efforts on larger, more complex projects. She is now the senior project administrator on specialized solutions group (SSG) projects, which include handling up to 13 projects at once. She is resilient and tough yet gracious and kind, which helps the team stay on track, grow together, and see the job through. She puts in 110% effort to ensure the job is successful at the end of the day.”

KELSEY STITHEM

Senior Estimator, Central Region

“Kelsey's passion for leading and supporting our women partners is what sets her apart. Although this is her first year on the Central Region Partnership for Women (PFW) Committee, Kelsey consistently serves as a champion for women in construction. She has been actively involved in regional PFW activities, recently completing the three-part PFW workshop, attending ENR's Groundbreaking Women in Construction conference, participating in an Omaha STEAM event for middle school girls, and more.”
