Manzanita Dormitory
The New Manzanita Dormitory is the first new undergraduate dormitory built on the Stanford campus in over 20 years and part of an undergraduate housing expansion. The 40,000-square-foot, three-story dormitory provides a new home to 125 undergraduate students, three resident scholars and one Resident Fellow (RF).
The residence features both single and two-room double rooms, a three-bedroom/three-bath RF unit, a large lounge with adjoining kitchenette, study spaces, seminar rooms and a computer cluster which provides collaborative spaces for the students to study and socialize. The project also includes an outdoor plaza for both educational and social events/gatherings.
Laguna Court Dormitory Addition
The Lagunita Court Addition consists of two 33,000-square-foot buildings to accommodate 200 undergraduate students and two Resident Fellow (RF) units. Both buildings are four-class residences, with one-room singles, traditional doubles and two-room doubles.
The project scope includes appropriate program space, shared gender-neutral restrooms, furnishings, finishes, kitchenette and laundry room. A large lounge with adjoining kitchenette and exterior patio provides an ideal setting for social gatherings and academic activities. Study spaces, seminar rooms and a computer cluster/group-learning space with standard supportive technologies will provide further collaborative spaces for students to study and socialize.
