McCarthy completed this renovation of Level 9 of the MD Anderson Cancer Center Alkek building for use by the Children's Cancer Hospital, including a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Pediatric Ambulatory Treatment Center, pharmacy and all inpatient rooms.

In addition to the MD Anderson Level 9 renovation, McCarthy completed the award-winning MD Anderson Cancer Center Alkek Hospital expansion in early 2011. The 12-story vertical expansion was one of the firm’s most challenging healthcare projects to date, and it finished ahead of schedule and on budget.
