Justin McFarland
Chief Administrative Officer
Justin oversees various administrative operations within McCarthy, including the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Information Technology, Innovation, and Marketing Communications teams. He also champions culture and drives collaboration and consistency for the broader administrative teams.
Justin joined McCarthy in 2016 as Vice President, Information Systems, overseeing the firm’s companywide IT functions. In this role, he created and implemented a strategic vision for technology, building a high performing national technology team and supporting the growing business. In 2019 he was promoted to Senior Vice President, Information Systems and in 2020 to Executive Vice President, Information Systems. In 2022, McFarland was recognized as the St. Louis ORBIE CIO of the Year for his achievements.
Along with his McCarthy responsibilities, Justin serves on the advisory board for NPower and is an honorary advisor for the STL Gateway to Innovation. He is also a sponsor of the Project Interface internship program with the Rockwood School District.
Justin earned both his bachelor’s degree and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
